When Archeology Undermines A Religion
The Quran makes the bold claim that Allah revealed the Torah and the Gospels in addition to the Quran. The problem this presents for Islam is that Muslims must answer for the stark differences in what is written in the Quran vs the Torah and the Gospels. Their answer? Corruption – the Gospel and the Torah we have today has been corrupted, unlike the Quran. Problem solved, right?
Unfortunately for Islam, hundreds of manuscripts of the Torah and the Gospels have been found that predate the Quran by hundreds of years and they say the same thing as our modern Bibles. This leaves Muslims with 3 conclusions:
- Allah didn’t reveal the Torah and the Gospels despite the flawless Quran saying otherwise
- Allah revealed the Gospels, including the parts that say to worship Jesus and beware of false prophets
- Ignore archeology, history, and fact
